We had a great visit in LA over the holiday.My sister lives in Lake View Terrace (LA) and my parents were visiting from New Jersey so we decided to ‘crash’ the party!
There were not enough bedrooms in her house so we rented an RV from through RV share and camped in the driveway! The RV rental was way cheaper than a hotel and rental car….
Testing at the Anchorage Airport was fast and easy - of course the state decided to end it.

On alaska airlines to get to my resort in Cabo San Lucas.Thanks to a airfare deal you sent out! The resort and the airline was pretty much empty. So it was super easy to social distance 🙂

We decided to give this a try- a Jeep camper that goes off-road!The roof lifts up, giving 2 people (barely) enough room to sleep. It has a porta potty, a refrigerator that runs off the battery, a sprayer shower hose and loads of room for gear- and costs a little more than renting a convertible for a week.
We traveled to Switzerland in October 2021 and went to the town of Zermatt and saw the Matterhorn.Had to show our vax card to enter most places. A great trip.
Arrived January 5, 2022, to cold weather but no snow on the driveway. Trip was amazing.
We had an incredibly good time on our safaris.

We went to Belize in early DecemberWe spent a week in a beach cabana on a tiny island offshore and a week in the jungle at a lodge. Belize has a Gold Standard program that tourist accommodations must meet or they can’t open. We felt very safe and well cared-for, and we had a great time.

Just got back from 24 days in Europe.Bought cheap tixs based on one of your alerts during the height of Delta. This is September 17, 2021.The Arctic Circle was one of the highlights of our drive up the Dalton Highway to Coldfoot with Northern Alaska Tour Company. We flew back to Fairbanks the next day after a night of viewing the Aurora and a morning tour to Atigun Pass where there was snow!
Here we are flying business class Denver to Munich to begin a Viking Greece Cruise October 2021.Four cruises had been canceled because of covid. We had never flown business class before but were cautious to fly coach.

Enjoying a long stay in Portugal - 84 days
The day I was to leave for my family’s year-deferred trip to Hawaii in December.I opened up a Christmas card from a friend who had enclosed a KN 95 mask. It ended up being perfect for the plane – so well fitting and yet so comfortable and breathable! It really made me feel safe on the plane.
March 2021: Having breakfast in the Alaska Airlines lounge in the N terminal at SEA,on my way to Boston to see my nonegenarian parents for the first time in over a year. I am fully vaccinated and over the moon!
