Nonstop Over-the-top to Frankfurt with Condor Airlines

In Airfares, Alaska Travelgram by scott

Here in Alaska, we love the Polar Route. Summer has started and Condor’s nonstop flights from Anchorage to Frankfurt are flying!

There’s really no comparison between Condor’s European flights and other airlines’ flights through the Lower 48.

For example, fly Condor nonstop (9.5 hours) between June 6 and June 16, 2012 for $1,168. Compare that with USAirways‘ service via Phoenix and Philadelphia. It’s a 23-hour trip in each direction and the price is $1,955. Of course, every flight is priced a little differently. Check the website for complete details.

Condor started the summer with one weekly flight, but next month they will offer four flights each week: Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday. The flights continue through the summer to Oct. 9, 2012.  Condor’s nonstop flights from Fairbanks to Frankfurt start on Thursday, June 21, 2012.

On arrival in Frankfurt, you’re well-positioned to jump to any one of Europe’s capitals. We’ve connected to Rome, Paris, Lyon and Barcelona (pictured, above). But you also can take the train if you have more time. There’s a station in the airport that takes you to the main Frankfurt train station downtown.

Make the jump to Europe this summer. We’ve done it. It’s great. Fly Condor. Fly nonstop!! Check the website for complete details. www.condor.com
