This just in from USTravel in Anchorage: Continental Airlines is ramping up its Anchorage service for the summer. In addition to the carrier’s twice-daily 737-800 flights between Anchorage and Seattle, Continental will resume once-daily 757-200 nonstop service to Houston. Plus, Continental (now part of United) will pick up United’s nonstops to Chicago, San Francisco and Denver. No mention of Anchorage-Portland.
The new seasonal flights will operate between June 9 and Aug. 28, 2011:
