My good friend John Wedin is a big fan of the Alaska Wild!He wants everyone to show up for the Anchorage-Fairbanks Arena Football game on April 1:
“Alaska Wild” vs Fairbanks “Grizzlies” on Thu, Apr 1, 7pm at Sullivan Arena here in Anchorage.
“The Grizzlies went to the IFL playoffs last year after a successful (and winning) season,” writes John.
“If you haven’t been to a Wild game yet, it’s a hoot! Players includes former and prospective NFL players plus excellent former college players from around the country. The game is fast-paced and high scoring (60s and 70s!). If football and basketball got married and had a kid, arena football is the kid’s name!”
“The boys and i have gone to all but a couple of their home games the past three seasons, and I can honestly say that this is the coaching staff and player roster we’ve been waiting for!”
