Good news: New York still is running at full steam: the restaurants, the shows, the shopping—THE LIFE. I’m looking down from 20 floors up–taking in the view.
I flew back on JetBlue to try out their new “MINT” service on trans-con flights. It’s all about the lie-flat seats between Seattle and New York. But the food is great, too. They even give you a fluffy down comforter and a pillow. My seatmate calls it “the sleeping bag.”
Enjoy the photos. I took the train everywhere–from JFK downtown, over to Brooklyn for a walking tour with Babbie Jacobs (fellow Alaskan), down to Battery Park and the 9/11 Memorial. Then I walked on the “High Line” — a park made from an old elevated train route. VERY COOL!
