We had a great trip from the entrance to Denali National Park on Kantishna Air Taxi back to the air strip near Denali Backcountry Lodge. The weather was pretty good do our pilot, Dave, elected to take us through some scenic passes on the mountain. GLORIOUS.
When we landed at Kantishna, the folks from the lodge were ready for us. It’s just about 1/3 mile from the strip to the lodge–so you can walk over if you wish.
Check out the photos. We went hiking, threw some rocks in the river and fiddled with our camera gear. Then it was dinner time. Then….off to bed for an early wake-up to get to it once again!!
