We traveled to Washington’s San Juan Islands last weekend. We flew up from Boeing Field near downtown Seattle on Kenmore Air. Kenmore has a big fleet of deHavilland Beavers–but we flew in a Cessna 208.
It’s a 35-minute flight–and a world away. The San Juans are sandwiched in between Vancouver Island and Anacortes, WA. There are a bunch of little islands, but just four with lots of people: San Juan Island (where Friday Harbor is), Orcas Island (where Rosario Resort is), Lopez Island and Shaw Island.
It was a lovely weekend–perfect for some photos. Enjoy!
