Here’s a travel tip: the best things in life are free. It’s the next-best things that are very expensive. That includes parking, by the way. The Inlet Tower Hotel, at 1200 L St., is just far enough from downtown Anchorage that the parking is free. That includes their own lot!
Don’t miss the views from the rooms, either. From the mountain side, you have an unobstructed view of the Chugach Mountains. Look toward the water and you can see Cook Inlet and Sleeping Lady.
