The Anchorage Museum is a must-see destination on your Alaska itinerary. The museum is in the heart of Anchorage, at the corner of 6th Ave. and C St.
Christy and I are members, so we can stroll in any time. If you live in Anchorage, you should be a member, too!
There’s lots going on: a dynamic Van Gogh Alive! exhibit and an historic Anchorage photo display. I stopped in to see a special exhibit on the Rasmuson Foundation’s acquisitions. Mike Dunham over at the Alaska Dispatch News did a nice write-up on the collection HERE.
