This pic was taken on the Snake River in Nome. Our friends Kelli and Mike Howell were visiting from Chicago and for the last week we’d been taking them to all the scenic fishing spots around Nome with no luck. We decided on this spot (the least scenic as the runway is obviously right across from the river) but just as Mike hooked his first salmon the AK jet took off and he ended up with the fish and a great, unique picture!
