Christmas Day with the Dogs: Photo Essay

In Adventure, Alaska Travelgram, Parks by scott

Did I mention I love Christmas in Alaska? Good thing, huh? ‘Cause here we are. HAHA. This Christmas is particularly snowy–which makes it oh-so-beautiful. Of course, we make a lot of noise with our Gospel Groove singing group at church (we’re singing again on New Year’s Eve: 5:30p at St. Eliz. Ann Seton Church here in Anchorage).

But the snow and the cold begs for quiet reflection. Accordingly, we took a stroll with the dogs at the University Lake Dog Park. Brought the camera. I thought you might enjoy seeing how some of Santa’s elves decorated the trees over at the dog park. Christy made me take a bunch of pictures. Right–Tanya looks up to try and coax ONE MORE TREAT from me. Who can resist that face? Below, both Tanya and Penny race ahead as I try and focus. OKOK…really, I’m struggling just to remain ambulatory. It’s been a long day. HA. For the FULL ALBUM, click here.
