Whoa! Both Fiddler Hanneke Cassel and Mandolin player Frank Solivan are cult favorites. They are “headliners” , but there are hundreds of musicians who are prepping for two weeks of awesome music Jan. 19-29 at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium at UAA. Additionally, there are dozens of venues all over Anchorage, where musicians will be playing!
You have to visit Anchorage. In the winter. ‘Cause it’s a Big Wild Life! Especially in the winter, Anchorage has got it goin’ on! Just pawing through the website from “Visit Anchorage”. That’s the new name of our local convention and visitors’ bureau.
