Pack up and head to Seward in time to see the Gray Whales in Resurrection Bay.  Oh, this photo by John Hyde features a HUMPBACK whale. Watch for them later in the spring.

These gray whales are the ones that spend all winter in Baja California frolicking in the Sea of Cortez. They call that the “Bedroom”. As they pass Resurrection Bay, they’re on the way to feed in the “Kitchen”, also known as the Bering Sea.

On this four-hour cruise, you’re likely to see other marine life, of course. This includes otters, porpoise, seals, puffins and a variety of other critters.

Bring a rain jacket just in case a few drops fall!
