FARE SALE EXTENDED. I bought one of Alaska’s “Winter Clearance Sale” tickets between Anchorage and Seattle. The sale was supposed to end on Saturday, but it’s been extended until Tuesday, Jan. 27. Travel by June 10, 2009. Travelers in Alaska cannot fly Mar. 4-9 or 13-17. There’s a two-week advance purchase required, except to Mexico (no advance purchase).
Fares on the Seattle-Anchorage are available for as little as $219 each way, plus tax. Fly between Seattle and San Francisco for $59 each way, plus tax. From Seattle to L.A.? Just $69 each way, plus tax. Fly from Seattle to either Boise or Spokane for as little as $49 each way, plus tax. Wow. Check the website for details.
Take the kids to Disneyland. For Free. OKOK–YOU have to pay, but the kids can go free. Does that make sense? Sort of like your own private bailout. HA!
