Get your passport, then get to work planning your trip. First, fly to Los Angeles to catch the once-a-week nonstop from LAX to Rarotonga. Air New Zealand does a great job.
Choose your accommodations. I stayed at Pacific Resort Rarotonga . It’s a great place, but it’s one of many.
Plan your activities. Hike. Fish. Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Make plans to fly over to Aitutaki for a couple of days. Be sure and go on a Lagoon Cruise on Te Vaka Cruises including a BBQ Lunch (WATCH THE VIDEO).
So get your tickets to the PFD Travel Fair. Come over to the Cook Islands table and talk to Christian Mani….our very own Cook Islander who has come up to welcome Alaskans to his home!
