You’ve read about him. The notorious “Travel Hacker” Chris Guillebeau was picked up in Anchorage as he stepped off a plane from Seattle this evening.

Guillebeau is famous in the dark “uber-frequent flyer” circles as an authority on how to “game” frequent flyer plans to accrue hundreds of thousands of miles. Examples of his subversive advice include phrases like “quit your job and travel the world”. In fact, he even publishes an online guide on how to become a “Frequent Flyer Master”. Imagine!

Other known activities include coaching entrepreneurs on how to be “Empire Builders”, encouraging dangerous concepts such as “World Domination”. Watch out for this guy!

No charges are pending–but authorities are watching.

You can, too.

Guillebeau will come out of hiding on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 for a book signing at Metro Books (530 E. Benson Blvd, Anchorage, AK. Ph: (907) 279-8622).in Anchorage at 7:00pm. It’s part of his “Unconventional Book Tour” which includes visits to all 50 states. The title of his book: “The Art of Nonconformity”. Twisted, huh?
