The great thing about taking a helicopter ride from Knik River Lodge is that it’s about five minuets from BIG ICE on the Knik Glacier! Our pilot was Abi Seaver and she was flying a new R44 helicopter. She flew us up and down the Knik Glacier, across Colony Glacier and Lake George. We landed on the ice and scampered around like little kids. Well…we scampered somewhat gingerly. HAHA. Check out the video!
