a. The 25th Annual Tour of Anchorage, Mar. 4, 2012! HUGE Nordic ski event–the whole family can play!

b. Fur Rondy! Whoa. Anchorage’s Winter Festival!! Now through Mar. 4, 2012. We’re rockin’ our way through Rondy! Hang around after the dogs leave on Saturday for the Iditarod start…it’s the RUNNING OF THE REINDEER!!

c. Start of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. The Last Great Race. Starts this Saturday, Mar. 3, 2012–right downtown on 4th Ave. It’s 1,049 miles to Nome. By dogsled. Don’t miss the start of this EPIC adventure in Downtown Anchorage!
