Umm…I’ve been working up to this one. There are secrets for travelers. Shortcuts, strategies and lessons learned the hard way. This time, we’ll also focus on special skills for the international traveler.
Get ready for a fun evening with prizes, precious knowledge and a good group of travelers. Travel stories. Travel trivia. Actionable deep-track knowledge to give you a firm grip on getting the best deals (with handouts!).
Did I mention beer and pizza from Moose’s Tooth? Mm-hmm.
The theme? “Winter’s Coming.” Cooler days, but hotter deals. Flash sales. New carriers. New strategies for finding the best fares, which may not necessarily be the cheapest (think “Saver” fares vs. “Main Cabin.”).
WHO: You, me and some special guests
WHAT: Travel Secrets: Winter’s Coming. We’ll feature tips, secrets and strategies for international travel. Frequent flyer awards, credit card points, good fares, currencies, passports, visas, insurance, communication, connectivity…and some special extras. It’s $25 in advance ($30 at the door).
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 29 from 6-9PM
WHERE: Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum. LOVE this place. Out on the shores of Lake Hood.
WHY: Travel is important. Being a good steward of your resources is important. We try and blend the two for some really important stuff. HA

REFRESHMENTS: We’ll have God’s own pizza and beer (root beer, too!) from Moose’s Tooth. It’s included in the admission…21+ for this event.
