Above: a little “I brake for rapture” moment at the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge.OKOK–The Copper River Princess is CLOSED for the season, as is the Kenai Princess (at right). But I like these photos so much…why don’t YOU send me some KILLER photos of the Mt. McKinley Princess or the Denali Princess. I’ll send you some swag–and run your photo with attribution. HAHA. HURRY!
Let’s cut to the chase with these awesome deals around the state on Princess Lodges.
1. Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge. There’s a free shuttle from the airport–which is a stone’s throw away from the lodge. It’s right on the banks of the Chena River, with a great restaurant for breakfast. Another tip: Fast, free wi-fi. That’s a big selling point when I’m up there exploring the Golden Heart City! Sept. 1-15: Select dates as low as $99 per night! Save more between Sept. 16-30: as low as $89 per night.
2.Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. The lodge is between Denali and Talkeetna, just off the George Parks Highway on the shores of the mighty Chulitna River. You cannot beat this price: as low as $79 per night on select dates between Sept. 1 – 23.
3. Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Close to the park entrance at Denali National Park–you cannot beat this location. And the price is nice, too. Bundle up–winter comes a little earlier in Denali. But so do the fall colors–and you have a great chance to save a little “green” as you gaze at the landscapes of orange, yellow and a little purple, too! Just $99 per night, on select dates between Sept. 1 – 23
