Save at Princess Lodges in May, June

Take advantage of low rates at these great places. Princess has five lodges around the state–let’s go through them one-by-one:

a. Fairbanks Riverside Princess. Right on the banks of the Chena River in Fairbanks–about a mile from the airport. Special rates from $69 through May 14, when you stay two nights or more. Beginning in June, enjoy special rates from $99 per night. Stay two nights or more and get 1,000 Alaska Airlines miles. Free wi-fi. I like the restaurant (the Edgewater). Close to the Riverboat Discovery. Actually, Fairbanks is pretty compact–so you’re close to everything: the antique auto museum, the University of Alaska museum, gold mining at El Dorado gold mine….and more!

b. Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. Just up the road from Talkeetna, this beautifullodge actually is the closes lodge to Mt. McKinley. On the “mother of all decks”, the Great One (Denali) fills up the entire northwestern horizon. Enjoy $69 rates for the entire month of May when you stay at least two nights. Plus, you’ll earn 1,000 Alaska Airlines miles! Optional activities include Denali flightseeing, jetboat tours of the Talkeetna, Susitna and Chulitna Rivers, float trips, fishing–and more.

c. Copper River Princess Lodge. On the banks of the Klutina River, you can see the Alaska Pipeline from the deck of the lodge, in addition to the awesome Wrangell Mountains. This is your gateway to the nation’s largest national park, Wrangell-St. Elias. Enjoy rates as low as $79 in June, when you stay two nights or more. And yes, the 1,000 Alaska Airlines miles are available as well. Enjoy day trips into Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, fishing on the Klutina River, jetboat rides on the Copper River–and more.

d. Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Located at the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Princess is your “base camp” for exploring the park. Make plans to take the Tundra Wilderness Tour into the park. Go flightseeing. Tour the kennel of Iditarod champion Jeff King. Go rafting on the Nenana River. Rates as low as $99 in May, when you stay at least two nights. Grab this deal while it lasts!

e. Kenai Princess. The setting of the Kenai Princess is incredible: right above the Kenai River with views of Kenai Lake. I’ve watched the moon come up over the mountains while sitting in the outdoor hot tub. Or, sit with a glass of wine on the deck and watch the river roll by. A perfect stop on your way to Seward, Homer, Soldotna–or any other destination on the Kenai Peninsula. Enjoy rates from $99 in May, when you stay two nights.

Plan an adventure this summer. Stay with a Princess!
