There’s so much to see and do in Alaska this summer. But eventually, you need to lay down and get some rest so you can get back at it the following day. That’s where Princess Lodges come in handy.
Let’s go down the list to see the deals now available:
a. Denali Princess. Located just one mile from the entrance to Denali National Park–on the banks of the Nenana River. As low as $99 (select dates in May).
b. Kenai Princess. Located in Cooper Landing at the headwaters of the Kenai River, this lodge features self-contained bungalows–each with its own fireplace and a porch with a view! Some look out over Kenai Lake. From $99 (select mid-week in May).
c. Mt. McKinley Princess. This is the closest hotel to Mt. McKinley, which is why the view of the mountain fills up the horizon when you’re standing out on the deck! The hotel is located on the Parks Highway near Talkeetna. From $99 (select dates).
d. Copper River Princess. You have to see Wrangell-St. Elias National Park when you come to Alaska. The Copper River Princess is near the entrance. It’s a perfect place to stay before you head into the park! As low as $89 on Wednesdays!
e. Fairbanks Princess. Right on the banks of the Chena River, the Fairbanks Princess offers free transfers to/from the airport and train depot. From $84 (weekends in May).
f. Rail Tours. Catch the deluxe “Midnight Sun Express” in Fairbanks or Anchorage and ride these private rail cars to either the Mt. McKinley Princess or the Denali Princess (or both!). Special rail/hotel packages are on sale in May and June–for as little as $119 per person, double.
